100 different Belgian Beers at Cafe Belge, Brighton PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 06 June 2008

There aren't many places in Brighton with as good a selection of Belgian quality beers as Cafe Belge and also The Evening Star. Check The Evening Star for a warm cosy pub tucked away by Brighton Station, but sometimes very over crowded (especially right after work and on a weekend evening).

Cafe Belge maybe comes out on top thanks to its location right on the seafront, with some limited seating outside it's possible to enjoy the questionable British sunshine whilst drinking some great beers, some of which are pretty amusing (try the one served in half of an empty coconut shell!).

Although I didn't eat anything here, I am told that the mussels they serve are pretty good. Might be worth a try this weekend.

Again, check out the 10% discount you'll get with a Midweek Dining Club card - though that's on the food bill, you'll have to pay normal price on your drink.
