Thoroughly enjoyable meal at this great Milton Keynes Indian. Impressively extravagant place to eat, with a beautiful ornamental rickshaw outside, and super polite / helpful service. Good quality food and generally a reasonable price. Some heavy competition for this restaurant from the Jaipur (huge white palace-like structure) down the road, but definitely worth a try. Extremely close to Milton Keynes Station (both Rail and Bus) too, meaning its easy to get home if you've had a couple of drinks. Don't forget to grab your 10% off here thanks to your Midweek Dining Club membership. |

Best Indian meals around! Such a cozy restaurant in a great area, so you can sit in a quiet nook and enjoy your meal. The choices are delish and the portion sizes are good, which you can wash down with a yummy bottle of Cobra. The only thing I would say is that it is a little pricier than most, so a saving definitely helps. The staff are great and really friendly. I'll be going back for sure and would rather enjoy a meal out out than order a takeaway. |

I recently visited the Merchants Blue Moon in Ocean Village, Southampton and had the most delicious meal in ages. The restaurant sits right next to the harbour and while the decor could do with a bit of an update (please get some nice paintings, the current ones are so depressing), the staff were friendly and the portion sizes were very generous. Along with your main course, they bring you a huge bowl of perfectly cooked vegetables (and not the boring kind) and lots (and lots) of potatoes. There's no pressure to leave your table for the next guest and when the sun is shining, with the doors and window open, you can just sit there enjoying the breeze and some lovely wine. The Midweek Dining Club offer is pretty good too - 25% off! |

There aren't many places in Brighton with as good a selection of Belgian quality beers as Cafe Belge and also The Evening Star. Check The Evening Star for a warm cosy pub tucked away by Brighton Station, but sometimes very over crowded (especially right after work and on a weekend evening). Cafe Belge maybe comes out on top thanks to its location right on the seafront, with some limited seating outside it's possible to enjoy the questionable British sunshine whilst drinking some great beers, some of which are pretty amusing (try the one served in half of an empty coconut shell!). Although I didn't eat anything here, I am told that the mussels they serve are pretty good. Might be worth a try this weekend. Again, check out the 10% discount you'll get with a Midweek Dining Club card - though that's on the food bill, you'll have to pay normal price on your drink. |

I have been to Food for Friends in Brighton on many occasions and have never been disappointed. The food is varied, well presented and exceedingly tasty. You may first be fooled by what appears to be a small portion size but guaranteed you will struggle to clear your plate. The wine choice is great with nothing too expensive. It is also the only restaurant I will ever eat dessert in as they all appear be delicious but also appear to be healthy! Being a Brighton resident my only criticism is that it does not prompt you to go back very often as they do not change the menu enough. As there is not a great choice of vegetarian restaurants in Brighton it would be good for locals to have more of a menu variety but even that won’t stop me going back. |
